Minnie’s Food Pantry currently holds the title of the #1 Charity in Dallas, has been voted the Community Partner of the Year, is a top-rated non-profit organization on Great Non-Profits, and has received a gold star rating through Guide Star for four consecutive years. Over the last decade, Minnie’s Food Pantry has brought light to the issue of food insecurity on both a local and national level, being featured on: Good Morning America, Steve Harvey Show, Ellen DeGeneres, Food Network Chanel and much more. Through our Feed Just One program, families living in low income—food insecure households are able to receive fresh meats, fresh produce and non–perishable items for their loved ones.

To date, Minnie’s Food Pantry has served over 8.5 million meals, including non-perishable items, fresh meats and fresh produce to families who would otherwise go without. It is our mission to help offset expenses associated with life’s basic necessities such as food, in order for them to use the limited resources they receive on other items, including: rent, electricity, water and education. During any given visit, each recipient at Minnie’s Food Pantry receives an average of 100 pounds of food items-the equivalent to almost 85 meals!
Currently Minnie’s Food Pantry serves families with children attending schools in the North Texas area, however we know the importance of fighting childhood hunger and we are proud to expand our programs through satellite locations in schools nationwide. Kids are frustrated and inattentive due to the lack of accessible foods. Minnie’s Food Pantry plans to continue expanding and opening additional pantries to help feed children of low-income families on a national scale.
