During your volunteer experience at Minnie’s Food Pantry, your group will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to interacting with clients, providing concierge service to clients, stocking our shelves, sorting items and a variety of other tasks.
The above video is when our volunteers deliver food to the senior citizens. You can see first hand the impact we make because of our volunteers. Volunteers are essential to the success of Minnie’s Food Pantry Plano Volunteer “WOW” center. It is a production and you become one of the main characters. The volunteer shift is from 8:00am – 12:00pm and you must be committed to the entire shift. A typical day includes food sorting, inspecting, grocery packing and possibly working on special projects or events.
We are looking for people who want to make a difference. If you have a desire to help, we need you to become a volunteer today!
Currently there is a great need for off-site volunteers such as food drives, pick-up and delivery drivers, and Minnie Food Pantry advocates.
